The good think about having a cold is all the TV you can watch without feeling guilty or unproductive. And luckily yesterday AND Thursday, they showed some of my favorite episodes of “Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern” (one of my most favorite TV shows) and one particular episode is where he went to Scotland.

Now if we know our world cuisine, we all should know that the National dish of Scotland is Haggis. It may just be the Scottish in me or the fact I was hungry at the time, but I would definitely try Haggis! I don’t know why people are so adamant on not trying the dish. Yes, I know what it made of but weren’t you afraid to try sushi or raw fish for the first time? I’m under the impression that you don’t tell me what I’m eating before I eat it. Wait until after I have eaten it and given my opinion to tell me.

But you know what? I would be willing to try half the stuff that dude eats on “Bizarre Foods”. Call me weird. Or maybe I’m just adventerous.

Beannachd leat!
